You won't be limited to only using annuals; we can recommend other beautiful flowers in this color scheme, which may include perennials, natives, blooming shrubs, and more, to keep the theme going through all of the seasons this special year.

Our designers will also be ready to create gorgeous, patriotic planters for you.

The deadline for large retail and wholesale pre-orders is February 15th. After that, you will still have access to red, white, and blue flowers, but we don't want you to risk missing the exact species and varieties in the quantities that you need.

Plant a tree as a birthday gift to America

Oaks are the official trees of the United States
(and Bur Oaks are the official trees of Lexington)

When Oaks were named the official tree of the United States, it was determined that all oaks, not just one specific species, would be included. Therefore, any native oak species, including our own Kentucky native Oaks, qualify.

Native Kentucky Oaks include many of the very best species: White, Bur, Chinquapin, Chestnut, Shumard, Southern Red, Northern Red, Swamp White, Post, Black, Scarlet, and others -- all GREAT trees.

"Planting an oak tree to celebrate 'America 250' is  perfect; a great, strong, resilient, long-lived, beautiful tree representing our great, strong, resilient, long-lived, beautiful country."

Your oak tree will clean the air, manufacture oxygen, feed countless beneficial insects and pollinators, songbirds and wildlife, provide shelter, create curb appeal, increase your property value, and enhance any neighborhood.

We can help you select an Oak tree, and we'll make it very easy for you with our starter-sized one, two, or three gallon Kentucky native Oaks in some of the easiest and most popular species to grow. We can also acquire larger trees for you, if you prefer, and we have very ease, step-by-step planting and care instructions to set your tree up for success and a long, happy life, in commemoration of our nation's birthday.
